Extension of Health Insurance for International Students

(AIG insuranc policy holders)

Under University guidelines, all international students should register for health insurance. As the term of the health insurance with the contracted health insurance company (AIG) will expire as of June 30, 2015,  (check your insurance card) please kindly extend the term of your health insurance during the following period:

*Students who will be graduating in August, 2015, should also join the health insurance and the term of the contract will be two months between July 1 and August 31, 2015.

• Application period for term extension: Thursday, June 4 ~ Tuesday, June 9, 2015 10:00am ~ 4:00pm (lunch time: 12:00pm~1:00pm)
• Place of Application: #301, International Center (3^rd floor of KFC)
• Health Insurance Company: Dongbu Insurance
• Cost

            - Male Students KRW 127,000

           - Female Students KRW 125,000

           - about  KRW 100,000 or more for a three month contract according to your age

• Main Coverage

           - Death from an accident or disability resulting from an accident: up to KRW 100,000,000

           - Death from illness : up to KRW 10,000,000

• Term of the contract: July 1, 2015 ~ June 30, 2016 (1year)
• What to bring: Insurance fee, Alien Registration Card, Student ID card

According to the group contract for all the international students of YU, this cost is much cheaper than extending until the time you finish your study at PSPS.

If you have joined the National Health Insurance Service in Korea, please submit a photocopy of the certificate to the PSPS office by June 12, 2015.
