외국인 유학생 단체보험 가입일정 연기안내

Notice of Delay for International Student Health Insurance application

한국에서 공부하는 외국인 유학생은 건강보험에 가입하여야 합니다. 건강보험에 여러 종류가 있으며, 영남대학교에서는 계약을 통해 보험회사를 선정하여 학생들에게 할인된 가격으로 가입할 수 있도록 하고 있습니다. 이러한 절차가 매년 6월에 시행 되는데 2018년 유학생 단체건강보험 가입 보험회사 계약이 연기되어 2018-2 대학원 장학금 신청 기간 내에 단체보험 가입이 어려운 상황입니다.

학교를 통해 유학생 단체보험에 가입하려고 하는 학생은 보험서류를 제외한 나머지 장학신청 서류를 먼저 학과에 제출하면 되고, 나중에 보험가입 안내를 받으면(7월 중순 이후 예상) 그 때 단체보험에 가입하여야 합니다. 7월 중에 한국에 있는 학생은 7월 중에 가입하고 방학에 본국으로 귀국하는 학생은 한국에 돌아와서 바로 보험에 가입하면 됩니다.

※ 국민건강보험이나 다른 보험에 가입하는 학생은 보험 서류를 장학금신청서류와 함께 제출하여야 합니다.

건강보험의 종류에 따른 제출서류를 다시 한 번 확인하고 장학금 신청기간 내에 서류를 제출하기 바랍니다.

예상하지 못한 상황이 발생하였지만 여러분의 양해를 부탁드립니다.

International students studying in Korea have to join health insurance plan. There are many ways to join the health insurance and Yeungnam University helps students to join the private company group health insurance with discounted price by competitive bidding. This process is conducted in every June but there has been a delay in bidding this time and it is not available to join the group insurance before scholarship application period.

So, students who want to join group health insurance can submit scholarship documents without health insurance card. HOWEVER, they have to join the group insurance if there is any further notice near mid of July. Those who will stay in Korea in July can join the group insurance in July and those who leave for vacation can join the insurance right after coming back from vacation.

Those who holds National Health Insurance or other private insurance have to include insurance documents in scholarship application documents.   

Please check documents list according the health insurance type and submit them within scholarship application period.

① 국민건강보험 가입자 National Insurance holders

  a. 장학금 지원서(종합정보시스템에서 출력)

     ※ 장학 30%를 받거나 장학금을 상향하고자 하는 학생은 종합정보시스템에서 신청/출력할 수 없습니다. 학과사무실이나 대학원 행정실에서 제공하는 신청서 양식을 작성하세요.

Those who receives 30% scholarship or wants to upgrade scholarship cannot apply pr print through URP. Please use the form provided by the department office or graduate school office.

  b. 국민건강보험증 사본 Copy of National Insurance Certificate

  c. 공인어학증명서(해당자) Official Language Certificate (if applicable)

② 학교 유학생 단체건강보험 가입자 YU Group Health Insurance applicants

  a. 장학금 지원서(종합정보시스템에서 출력)
