 Who is the author of the most frequently cited academic thesis in the law research sector?
 Professor Lee Bu-ha (46, left photo) and Professor Kim Hyeon-joon (52, right photo) of the YU Law School were found to be the highest authorities in the constitution and administrative law research sectors through academic data.
 Recently, the Law Times analyzed research papers in the law sector accumulated for 11 years from 2004 to 2014 through the National Research Foundation's Korea Citation Index (KCI) system. KCI is a system that analyzes citation relations among studies by collecting and categorizing domestic academic journals, thesis information, and references.
 According to this, the paper published by Professor Lee Bu-ha was the most cited in the constitutional studies sector by being cited 381 times. When compared to overall fields of law, he was a close second following Professor Kim In-hyun (57) of Korea University who had 387 citations in the Marine Law sector. The representative paper of Professor Lee, who is a constitutional expert, is 'Principle of Proportionality and Principle of Underestimated Protection Prohibition Policy' that was published in the 'Constitutional Studies Research' journal in 2007.
 
 YU Law School Professor Kim Hyeon-joon also took first place in the administrative law field by being cited 275 times. This is 15th place overall in the law sector.

 Academic circles normally cite the studies of others when it has academic significance such as being creative or requiring critical review. A higher number of citations represent that the value of the said paper is higher. Therefore, the number of citations of a study is used as an objective index that shows the qualitative value of the study throughout all academic fields both in Korea and abroad.
 Meanwhile, in the top 20 with the most number of citations for the law sector was Seoul National University Law School with five professors ranking in the top 20. It was followed by YU Law School with two professors.
