 YU (President Sur Gil-soo) ranked ninth in the nation among universities that graduated chief executive officers (CEOs) for listed subsidiaries among the top 30 business groups in Korea. It was the only private university outside of the Seoul area to be included in the top 10.
 
  On the 26th, Data News analyzed the undergraduate universities of 260 CEOs of listed subsidiaries among Korea’s top 30 business groups. Among 257 CEOs for whose universities were identified, it was found that YU graduated six CEOs, placing it ninth place in the list.
 
  Seoul National University topped this list at 78, followed by Korea University (32) and Yonsei University (27). YU and Kyungpook National University recorded six CEOs, thus being tied for ninth place in the top 10.

  Meanwhile, YU was also ranked ninth in the nation in the University Ranking for Korea’s Top 500 Corporate CEOs analyzed by the business management performance evaluation site, CEO Score in July of last year.
