<YU library employees package books that will be delivered to students>
YU (President Sur Gil-soo) will begin library book delivery services. As non-face-to-face classes are continuing at colleges due to the spread of COVID-19, this aims at supporting students in their school work who have difficulty visiting the school during online class periods.
The YU library decided to deliver books needed for undergraduate and graduate school students for their class to their homes from April 16 using delivery services. Up to 5 books per person will be allowed and applications will be accepted for one time until the end of online classes.

The book delivery service can be used by connecting to the ‘Book Delivery Service Application’ site from the YU library homepage and logging in with your student number and password and then entering the registration number of the book that you need. The books will be processed for loans and be sent every day via post office delivery.
The YU Library will also hold events such as ‘Freshmen Library Usage Quiz’ for new students to help students actively utilize the library from their first year in school. Freshmen will be able to learn how to use the library naturally by solving the online quiz. Freshmen who participate in the event will also receive souvenirs from the school.
Meanwhile, the YU Library was ranked 10th out of all 409 university libraries in evaluations on academic information sharing and distribution contribution for the mutual loan sector in 2020 by the Korea Education & Research Information Service (KERIS). It was recognized for its excellence as a college library that positively supports research activities of school members and its contributions to joint use of academic information for nationwide college libraries.
