Poongsan Environment Tech CEO Lee Jin-ho donated the ‘Automatic Temperature Measurement Gate’ worth 70 million KRW to YU on June 8.
Mr. Lee Jin-ho, who is an alumnus of the YU Department of Civil Engineering, made this donation to his alma mater saying that he wanted to help his juniors in their studies.

Mr. Lee said, “I presume that the students are tired both physically and mentally due to the prolonged COVID-19 situation. I hope that this may contribute to the students studying at a safer campus.”
YU installed the automatic temperature measurement gate donated by Mr. Lee at the first floor lobby of the Central Library where there is highest student traffic to measure their body temperature. This device automatically checks the temperature of people entering and it is a high-tech measuring device that soudns off an alarm whenever there is someone who exceeds a certain temperture range.
