5 CEO’s from YU, first place in non-metropolitan private colleges

Analysis of 256 CEO’s of listed affiliates of 30 large 30 groups

  YU (President CHOI Oe-chool) took 9th place in the colleges produced listed affiliate CEOs of 30 large groups in whole country in 2022. YU took first place in non-metropolitan private colleges.

Recently, Datanews analyzed affiliated colleges of 256 CEOs (including nominees) of listed affiliates of 30 domestic large groups and YU took 9th place with production of 5 CEOs.

Seoul National University took first place with production of 74 CEO’s and was followed by Korea University and Yonsei University. In whole country, 12 colleges produced 5 or more CEOs and, among them, YU is the only non-metropolitan private university.

Meanwhile, YU took 12th place in the colleges produced CEOs of large 1,000 enterprises in 2021 based on the report by Unicosearch in the last year and took 7th place in the colleges produced CEOs of 100 large enterprises based on the analysis conducted by The Economist, a current affairs magazine.
