The YU Medical Center (Executive Director Kim, Tae Nyeun) provided medical volunteer support at the '2013 Daegu Medi Expo' at the first floor convention center of Daegu EXCO for 3 days starting on June 21. 6 to 7 medical staff including family medicine doctors set up 4 health experience booths where they provide free diagnoses, medical consulting, blood pressure and blood-sugar measurements, body fat analyses, and oxygen saturation measurement for visitors.

 Meanwhile, many people at the event visited the YU Medical Center PR booths on the first day of the 21st to enjoy free health examinations.

 This event was held together with the annual Medical & Healthcare Expo Korea (7th event this year), the Daegu Medical Tourism Expo (3rd this year), the Korean Traditional Medicine Industry EXCO (13th this year), and the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Conference of Aesthetic Dermatologic Therapy (11th this year). This is a medical business event where 3,000 doctors, pharmacists, nurses, dentists and Korean medicine doctors, as well as 1,500 dermatologists nationwide gather. There are a total of 320 booths from 170 companies and it is expected that it will attract over 20,000 visitors.
